Never too late to translate

About me

Hi again,

I am a native Russian translator from English living in Samara, Russia (about 1,000 km away from Moscow).

I’ve been a full-time freelancer since 2006, translating texts in such fields as hospitality& travel, advertising, marketing, fashion & jewelry, business & sales. I mostly translate content for luxury hotels, global airlines, travel destinations, fashion brands, luxury goods manufacturers, etc. I also transcreate slogans and other creative stuff.

I am passionate about music and figure skating and just love it when my hobbies and my job meet.

In 2013 I saw my first literary translation published — Margaret Laurence’s Stone Angel.

I also do consecutive interpreting. In 2010–2012 I have been interpreting regularly at Avtovaz for a major British OEM, and in Dec. 2012 I interpeted for the International Skating Union President at the figure skating Grand Prix Final in Sochi (Olympic test event). I have some experience in simultaneous interpreting too.
